Purchasing Questions
How does the purchasing process work?

Browse available scooters and power chairs, submit an inquiry form, speak with a mobility consultant, receive recommendations and pricing, complete payment, then schedule delivery or pickup.

Can someone help me choose the right scooter?

Absolutely. Our goal is to educate first and help you find the mobility solution that best fits your home, transportation needs, travel plans, and lifestyle.

Do you offer consultations before purchasing?

Yes. We encourage consultations so we can better understand your needs and recommend appropriate equipment.

Do you deliver scooters and power chairs?

Yes. Delivery options are available throughout our service area. Delivery details are confirmed during your consultation.

Can I pick up my equipment instead?

Yes. Pickup arrangements can be made through your mobility consultant.

Insurance & Medicare Questions
Does Medicare cover mobility scooters?

Medicare Part B may cover mobility scooters when they are medically necessary and prescribed by a Medicare-enrolled physician. Coverage requirements must be met before approval.

What is considered medically necessary?

The scooter must be needed because a medical condition significantly limits your ability to move around your home and perform daily activities, even when using a cane, walker, or crutch.

Who may qualify for Medicare coverage?

Conditions that may qualify include Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, ALS, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injuries, Severe COPD, and Congestive Heart Failure. Coverage decisions are made by Medicare based on medical necessity and documentation.

Does Medicare pay for the entire scooter?

Typically, Medicare pays 80% of approved costs after your Part B deductible has been met. You are responsible for the remaining 20% unless supplemental insurance applies.

Can private insurance help cover mobility equipment?

In some cases, yes. Coverage varies by insurance provider and policy. We recommend contacting your insurance company to verify benefits.

What documentation is required for Medicare coverage?

Medicare typically requires a face-to-face evaluation with a Medicare-enrolled physician, a written prescription, documentation showing medical necessity, and verification that the equipment can be safely used in your home.

Travel Questions
Can I travel on an airplane with my scooter or power chair?

Yes. Airlines are required to accommodate mobility devices under the Air Carrier Access Act. Most scooters and power chairs can be used throughout the airport and checked at the gate before boarding.

Should I notify the airline before traveling?

Yes. We recommend contacting the airline at least 48 hours before your flight and providing your equipment's dimensions, weight, and battery information.

Can I use my mobility device in the airport?

Yes. Most travelers can use their scooter or power chair through security and all the way to the gate.

Are your travel scooters FAA compliant?

Many of our travel-friendly models are FAA compliant. Ask your mobility consultant about airline-approved options for your travel plans.

What should I bring when flying with my scooter?

We recommend bringing your owner's manual, battery information, removable accessories, and airline documentation if requested.

Rental Questions
What are your rental options?

We offer daily, weekly, and extended rental periods depending on availability.

What are rentals commonly used for?

Rentals are popular for cruises, vacations, family visits, community events, recovery after surgery, and temporary mobility needs.

How does the rental process work?

Submit a rental inquiry, speak with a mobility consultant, confirm equipment and rental dates, schedule delivery or pickup, then enjoy your rental.

Yes. We believe in building long-term relationships with our customers and remain available to provide guidance, service support, and mobility education after your purchase.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before contacting you?
